Horse Back Riding

I love animals! Especially Horses! At Signature West Farms I get to learn how to groom, ride, and tack up horses. It's interesting to learn and accomplish a new skill like horseback riding. Me and my buddy Brady are here:

This was after a long day of riding, and me and Brady were BOTH hot and sweaty.

Students at West farms also get to learn about responsible ridership. For example, we make sure never to leave a horse, for even a second, with out tying them up properly. Or to always clean up after our horses.

Riding is super fun! It feels like I'm a Queen on my thrown looking down at all of my fellow citizens. I fell in love with riding as quickly as I started it.

Fun fact! Did you know that some horses look so similar that the smallest things like snips, stars, socks and stripes help tell them apart? Now you might be saying "Why in the world is a horse wearing socks?" Socks on a horse is the white fur that goes up along their leg.

Things like this help the farm hands identify which horse is which. They are called markings.

I hope that I have interested you into signing up. If you want to check out Signature West Farms, click here. You don't want to miss out!
